In today’s sneaker culture, there’s no shortage of shoe resellers that sell sneakers in bulk.

However, sneaker resellers are typically more expensive and less efficient than traditional resellers.

In this post, I’ll share the secret to getting thousands of shoes for sale at low prices, so you too can reap the benefits of reselling sneakers.

So what are you waiting for? Let’s begin the discussion.

Easy Guide On How Do Sneaker Resellers Get So Many Shoes?

Here are the easy steps that a sneaker reseller uses to get so many shoes. Let’s review them and make your work easy.

Find and Talk to the Manufacturer:

Before you get involved in reselling, you should find out who is producing the shoes. To get started, search online for the manufacturer’s name or company.

Sometimes the company name is the same thing as the brand name. If you can’t find the company, you’ll need to find the contact person that’s in charge of finding shoes.

In some cases, you might be able to get some information from the distributor itself. Many distributors have an entire section devoted to resellers.

Or maybe a customer service representative will be happy to give you information on what’s available for reselling.

Use the Right Network:

Once you find the company that’s producing the shoes, you’ll want to find the right network to connect to. You need to find companies that will be willing to deal with you.

So far, all you know is that this guy is in China, which means he’s selling from a different country, and it’s likely that he has some connections in other countries.

There’s a network of companies that specialize in helping people just like you. They’re often referred to as drop ship or direct fulfillment companies, but they have a much larger focus than that term suggests.

They’ll have accounted for over 100,000 different brands of clothing. They also take the time to meet with the manufacturer and confirm their orders.

I use drop ship sites such as PouchApparel.com, and my account manager (who also runs my reselling operation) is constantly in touch with the manufacturer to confirm the quantities and quality of the products I’m going to sell.

Ask the Right Questions:

Before agreeing to purchase from a manufacturer, it’s important to ask the right questions. Make sure you understand how and why they do what they do.

Are they selling directly to the consumer? Do they have a physical location where you can pick up the shoes? And make sure you know the quality of the product. Don’t accept anything less than what you’d be willing to pay for.

That way, if there are issues, later on, you’ll know they’re within your control and not due to manufacturing problems.

Build a System:

To succeed, you’ll need a system to track everything. I use a spreadsheet that links together the shoe’s product code, size, quantity, price, and where the shoes are going to be shipped from.

The goal is to automate the process so that you don’t have to look at the spreadsheet every time you sell a pair. When you get a new order, you can just update the row in the spreadsheet that corresponds to the shoes you’re shipping out.

Sell, Sell, Sell:

The last step is to keep going and build your inventory. Don’t worry about worrying about whether or not your customers will come back. After all, you are the only person who matters in this equation.

The only thing that matters is that you keep coming back for more. Don’t be afraid to push yourself and keep selling. Every time you add to your inventory, you’re getting closer to being able to earn the most profit. If you start by selling $1,000 worth of shoes and sell those shoes at $30 each, you’ll end up making $5. But if you sell the same amount of shoes at $10 each, you’ll end up with $7.

How To Get Benefit From Sneakers Reselling?

Following are some tips that you should follow to get benefits from sneakers reselling.

  • Buy cheap shoes at retail value, then sell them for higher prices
  • Use shipping rates that are less expensive than other channels (for example, FedEx and UPS)
  • Sell them quickly through eBay auctions
  • Use Google to show listings of people interested in the same sneakers
  • Get customers to place bids on the listings, either by making a listing on their behalf or by sending them an email
  • Offer to ship the shoes to buyers' preferred addresses

How To Get Benefit From Sneakers Reselling

Wrapping It All Up!!!

Sneaker resellers are a niche market for those who sell them at a profit. They sell used sneakers, in their local area, and sometimes internationally.

They can be a source of cheap inventory for anyone selling at a lower price, but often they sell more than they would if they had to pay retail.

So make sure to read the above guide carefully and make a profit from sneaker reselling.
